Ratings   (explanation of our rating system)

Global rating :
A small, seriously isolated bath located next to a mountain river. This old onsen will please true onsen lover, especially people from big cities who might not be used to this type of bath. This free onsen is visited both by locals and backpackers.

Size :
A small bath, which can accommodate 4-5 people at most.

View :
View, although limited to the mountain river flowing 50 centimeters from the bath, is enjoyable.

Modesty :
There are separate changing rooms, but the bath itself is not really hidden, and people who park the car can peak at it. And considering the size, privacy will be difficult to keep if other people are sharing the bath with you.

Area :
Yoroshi Onsen is located close to the Mashuko Lake, a extraordinary scenic area of Doutou (north-east of Hokkaido).

A small, free onsen located near a small, dirty road... With small baths, the level of enjoyment usually correlates with the quality of the people you meet in it. In this bath, I was scored by a local resident, who decided I didn't wash my body enough before entering the bath (which was perhaps true... but I was in another bath 10 minutes before). At the same time, he was washing his teeth while soaking!

This rotenburo is really small...
