Hello everybody there !

My name is Laurent, I'm from France and I will travel in Japan between the 3rd and 20th August 2009. We'll maybe meet over there, but before I have a plan to submit :

Among other things, I want to visit Seto Naikai (the Interior Sea between Honshu and Shikoku island)...

I chartered a boat for a day-trip on Friday 7th August and the travel will stand between Shiraishi island (off shore Fukuyama) and Miyajima/Hiroshima, with a stop half-way in Omi-jima (Shrine and Museum).
But we can stop somewhere else, like Tomonoura harbor, Mitarai or maybe another place if you prefer...
For those who can't come on Shiraishi island, maybe we can pick up you in Tomonoura which is on Honshu main land.

But it's not free, and I'm looking for other travelers to share the costs. If I'm staying alone, it's too expansive for me, but we can be up to 5 and then the cost could be around 20000 Yen.

Remember it is a unique chance to see this beautiful and secret part of Japan.
All majors ferries companies travel at night and doesn't stop on theses little islands.
There's websites where you can see how beautiful is this part of Japan :

The Inland sea (except Hiroshima and Miyajima world heritage of course) is away from main touristics routes. Many places and islands haven't change since the Edo period : specific culture and traditions are still alive there. The trip I'm trying to organize is a chance to discover this secret part of Japan.

For more information, you can contact me, or have a look to this web site :

Cheers and see you soon,
Laurent
